A 19th CENTURY ORMOLU THREE-PIECE CLOCK GARNITURE  BY JAPY FRERES, PARIS CIRCA 1850 

Comprising a mantel clock and a pair of four-light candelabra  CASE: The gilt bronze Rococo case finley cast and chased, with flowers and leafy vine designs mounted with 'L'enfant Bacchus', ( Dionysus, Greek God of the grape harvest ), with all-over rocaille and acanthus scrolls, surmounted  by three Bacchic putti, emblematic of the grape harvest, making and drinking wine. 

DIAL: The signed enamel dial with Roman and Arabic chapters and pierced, engraved gilt hands.  MOVEMENT: The movement with twin barrels counter wheel with strike bell, Signed  JAPY FRÈRES MEDAILLES D'ORE ANNEES 1823 27 34 39 44 49.    

The candelabra en suite each modeled as a putto supporting a bouquet of acanthus-cast scrolled branches, fruit and harvested grape vines,  the bronzes variously stamped with letters and numbers

The clock: 35 cm. high;  45 cm. wide;  16.5 cm. deep
The candelabra: 48 cm. high
